Georgian Dental is celebrating the grand opening of our clinic location in Barrie on Saturday, June 1st, 2013. The new clinic, at 149 Bayfield St., beautifully blends the significance of Barrie’s heritage architecture with state-of-the-art technology.

Georgian Dental has been providing patients with a full range of dental services, including oral hygiene, oral surgery, fillings, whitening, 1-day crowns, Invisalign, orthodontics and more for over 20 years. The new Barrie clinic will offer holistic dental therapy, combining naturopathic nutritional counseling with state-of-the-art technology and protocols to be the only practice in North America to provide the ultimate in safe mercury removal practices. Already offering low-radiation digital x-rays, the clinic’s focus is to exceed standards and expectations in dental care. The new clinic offers the first high volume extra oral evacuation system built right into the building (evacuating  mercury (Hg) vapours and overspray and other chemicals out of the building).

Smiles On Us 2013

Dr. Tan and his crew are proud once again to provide free dentistry for a Day for the city of Barrie. Check back to get details and updates.

Smiles On Us (SOU) is a grass roots, non-profit event dedicated to providing free dental care to those who need it. Every year, the crew from Georgian Dental will donate their time and resources to host a SOU event.

How can I receive treatment at the Smiles On Us event?
All that is required for treatment at the Smiles On Us event is being 18 years old. Arriving early for a Smiles On Us event is recommended.

Where/When is the Smiles On Us event?
We will provide care from 8:00 am until 3:00pm at Georgian Dental Barrie located at 149 Bayfield Street, Barrie, Ontario, Canada.

Can my children receive free dental care from Smiles On Us?
The Smiles On Us event provides free dental care services for adults 18+. Healthy Smiles Ontario provides children 17 and under with free dental care year round. We are pleased to partner with the Muskoka-Simcoe County Health Unit to provide free dental screenings for several programs they administer. What dental care is provided at Georgian Dental Barrie free Smiles On Us?
Georgian Dental Barrie free Smiles On Us event provides free extractions, fillings and dental hygiene therapy. Given the influx of what can be hundreds of individuals on a given day, only these three procedures are possible.

What if I need additional dental care?
The Smiles On Us events are not able to provide for all manner of dental care services. However, we recommend that patients requiring additional treatment explore contact with regional free clinics in their area. You can usually get a list of these from your county offices.
